We always respond positively to the rainbow - seven colors daughter of the sun and rain. But who of us saw a rainbow at night? It would seem, without sunlight it is impossible.
However, in the lunar night it happens. This type rainbow is called "moon rainbow".
Martin McKenna from Northern Ireland has seen a rainbow in the night of October 3 at the port of Ballintoy.
"I was lucky to capture this rare surreal picture on the Atlantic ocean in the Bay of Ballito," said McKenna.
"The moon gives enough light that illuminates the powerful clouds and refracted in the drops of rain storm. I saw red, yellow and white to the naked eye. The picture looked remarkably over the coastline", - says the author.
