In the Romanian city of Brasov, in the chapel of the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, built in 1495, found murals depicting scenes of the Apocalypse.
According to "New Region" referring to the Romanian edition of the News Brasov, in this temple is the place where for decades was not a single tourist. On the walls and piers of the chapel depicts at least 13 scenes from the Apocalypse. One of the murals, which previously could not decipher, bears a striking resemblance to the modern documentary films about predictions for 2012 with solar flares and with the shift of the magnetic poles of the Earth.
The paintings were made in 1737 painter Georgi Store and his brother Gregory, as evidenced by the inscription in Cyrillic, confirming the author and date. The porch was painted son Gregory John, who painted scenes of biblical Revelation," said a local priest Basil Olteanu.
The most interesting fresco is located on the support of the chapel. It's called "Wheel of the world", and it shows the rotation of the Earth around the Sun, which is carried out with the help of the saints. The sun in the middle of which is an equilateral triangle with the "all-seeing eye", sends lethal rays at the Earth.
While saints are trying to move the planet vertically, as if they want to turn it. This scene is associated with the theory of change of magnetic poles of the Earth.
According to Chairman of the local Foundation "Dacia" Libya Pandele, the unique frescoes lies in the fact that at the time of writing, the Catholic Church still has not recognized the revolutionary theory of the Galilee. Only in 1741, the Vatican has authorized the publication of academic books and formally acknowledged that the earth revolves around the Sun. Moreover, in 1738, the scientists have not yet raised the question about the planets.
It clarifies the Romanian edition, the chapel was closed for visits in the 70-ies of the last century by the order of the Romanian state security.
