Almost sixty years ago, the inmates of the prison, located on the hill of Luzira near the Ugandan capital Kampala, dug a trench for the Foundation for the construction of outbuildings. Pick one of them suddenly struck solid object - the sculptural image of a human head. The discovery was part of a ceramic figures. Next unearthed fragments of the trunk and extremities... Builders refused to work on this place: many assured that found the sculpture portends misfortune.

BIGGA-bla-Mugenyi, or translated Fort Mugenyi, is the ruins of the ancient fortifications, on the South Bank of the river Katonga in the Western part of Uganda. Bachwezi left behind buildings, ruins of which have survived until today. After the sudden disappearance bachwezi archaeologists have discovered a strange objects that time belonged to the epoch of existence of BIGGA-bla-Mugenyi, but in appearance, did not correspond to those products that were made tribes inhabiting Uganda.

The first mention of Byggo (abbreviated call the location of ancient buildings) appeared in "Official Gazette edition of the protectorate of Uganda - may 15, 1909 In the note stated that the residents have linked the origin of the fortress with the supernatural. The holes are placed one after the other in a certain order. They all have about half a meter in diameter. The depth ranges from three to seventy meters. Dug in the rock and go down perpendicularly. The same "hole" were found in other parts of Uganda. Their age is not defined, although local scientists suggest that they are "very long time".

In 1934, E. Weiland suggested that there was a connection between BIGGA-bla-Mugenyi and the ruins of Great Zimbabwe - city-fortress, located on the territory of present-day Zimbabwe. He compared the plan Ugandan buildings (and "lusinski people," recall, was found near the capital of Uganda) with Zimbabwean, and it turned out they had much in common: the same semi-circular or semi-elliptical fence small yards, stuck to the walls of the Central building, the same methods of erection of walls. It means that there was some one architect! Moreover, Wayland found in fifteen kilometers from BIGGA place called Sembabule.

So Sembabule is Zimbabwe, it cannot be otherwise, so it seems! - cried the investigator. - So, the key to the puzzle - "lusinski man" is here!

The optimism of the scientist could not quite justified. But in subsequent excavations in BIGGA-bla-Mugenyi found shards of pottery, very similar to the remains of the utensils found in the Great Zimbabwe. And the most astonishing: in the ruins of Great Zimbabwe found cylinder, similar to that found in BIGGA! Moreover, the same cylinder was found during excavations on... Cyprus! His compared with Ugandan find renowned scholar of the culture of Zimbabwe, Caton-Thompson. Very similar!

Zimbabwe - Uganda - Cyprus... was there ever a connection between them? And where did the "lusinski man"? No answer yet. Africa holds many secrets, but reluctantly parted with them...
