Fund Trust for America's Health predicts that by 2030, more than half of the inhabitants 39 U.S. States will be backward. The estimates are based on results of research conducted by the Centers for control and prevention of diseases from 1999 to 2010.
Now about two thirds of Americans are overweight. This number includes those who are obese, and that 36% of the U.S. population. Obesity expanded steadily in recent years; the least slender people remained in the South and in the Midwest (North Central part of the country).
In less than two decades, the "fatty" the state will become Mississippi. By 2030, 67% of the local population will not just fat and greasy. For comparison: now the figure is 35%.
In the "slim" the state of Colorado, where fat is considered one fifth of the residents, by 2030, 45% of the population go into a "greasy" category. In new York the number of obese will grow from the present 25% to 51%, and in California, from 24% to 47%.
If after two decades, the US would reduce the average body mass index (BMI) residents only by 5%, thousands and even millions of people will be able to avoid diseases associated with excess weight. In addition, it will reduce healthcare costs by billions of dollars. For human growth 183 cm and a weight of 90 kg per-cent reduction in BMI is equivalent to the loss of 4.5 kg
Specialists of the Fund Trust for America's Health does not explain why some States "will poolstead" more than others. And representatives of the Centers for control and prevention of diseases refuse to comment on the report.
