He was born on may 18, 1711 in the town of Dubrovnik. At the age of 14 he entered the Roman Jesuit College, one of the best educational institutions of the time, and graduated with distinction from him, became a member of the Jesuit order. From that moment begins scientific career Boscovich. Eight years later, after completing his studies he published his first work, far ahead of time - about spots on the Sun.

In 1740, at the age of just 29 years old, Roger Boscovich becomes the scientific Advisor to the Vatican.
