Andrew not only fell into a hypnotic state, but declared itself as about the potential healer and the diagnostician. Being in a trance, he told the friend the tailor on diseases of himself and his spouse, with issued and diagnoses, and treatments!

Both decided not to stop there and continued his experiments. During the following trances Davis has demonstrated a completely unique things: read closed books, guessed the names of strangers, predicted that small events that really soon happened. Best of all he managed healing sessions. Perhaps this contributed to children unrealized dream of becoming a doctor, perhaps that was the purpose of the above, but Davis put amazingly accurate diagnoses and gave detailed instructions on treatment. The most interesting thing is that sometimes these "recipes" are not taken seriously by medical contemporaries, since at the time was not yet recommended drugs and treatments - all this had to discover and invent much later.

MEETING IN THE MOUNTAINS I

Apparently, the regular dives into a trance helped Andrew Jackson Davis to disclose his gift in full. On the night of 7 March 1844 he did what was later called the "astral travel".
